How domain estimates work.
This Policy explains what a Reonr domain appraisal means, what the tool uses, and the limits you accept when using it.
1. Purpose
The Domain Appraisal tool gives an automated estimate for the domain name you enter. It is intended to help with early research before you buy, sell, or review a domain.
2. What the estimate means
An appraisal is an estimate, not a valuation certificate, sale price, purchase offer, listing price, or guarantee that a domain will sell.
The actual price can be higher, lower, or zero. A buyer and seller decide the final sale price.
The tool can return no value, a limited result, or no estimate when the available evidence does not support a reliable price.
3. Data and limits
The tool uses public reported sales, domain structure, extension patterns, word signals, spelling patterns, and locally stored model data.
The estimate covers the name alone. It does not value a website, revenue, traffic, customers, content, search ranking, social accounts, goodwill, or other business assets.
Public sales reports cover only part of the market. Private sales, unreported sales, unusual buyer demand, and changing market conditions can affect a domain's value.
4. Other domain prices
An appraisal does not set a registration, transfer, renewal, redemption, premium, broker, or marketplace price.
Check the current cart or invoice before you order or renew a domain. Display-currency conversions can also change with the current exchange rate.
5. Third-party rights
An estimate does not confirm that you can register, use, buy, or sell a domain. It does not clear trademarks, company names, personal names, or other third-party rights.
You are responsible for checking the law and any third-party rights before you register, use, market, or sell a domain.
6. Search logs
Reonr records the domain searched, result status, estimate or range, display currency, model version, selected scoring factors, and response time.
The dedicated appraisal log does not record your IP address, account ID, email address, session ID, or browser details.
Reonr uses these records to check result quality, find model errors, measure coverage, and improve later versions. Raw appraisal logs are kept for up to 12 months unless law requires longer retention.
See the Privacy Policy for your rights and contact details.
7. Your decision
Review other market evidence and get professional advice when a decision has material financial or legal consequences.
To the extent allowed by law, Reonr is not responsible for a loss caused by relying only on an automated estimate. Rights that applicable law does not allow Reonr to exclude remain unchanged.
8. Questions and corrections
Send policy questions to [email protected]. Send a support request when an appraisal page shows the wrong domain, currency, or result state.
