AI Hosting OpenClaw AI Hosting

Your server. Your agent .

Host your own OpenClaw agent on a private Reonr server. OpenClaw is an open-source AI agent that runs on your server, connects to the AI provider you choose, and can receive work through messaging apps. Reonr gives it a private VPS/VDS-style home with root access, NVMe storage, and room to grow from a personal assistant to a team workspace.

OpenClaw installed

Your server is prepared for OpenClaw. Log in over SSH and complete onboarding with your own AI provider key.

SSH-first setup

OpenClaw is configured from the server terminal, so keys, tokens, and setup choices stay under your control.

Message where you work

Connect OpenClaw to channels such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Slack, or other supported messaging apps.

Private control UI

The OpenClaw Control UI is kept local by default and should be reached through an SSH tunnel, not exposed publicly.

What it is for

A private place for OpenClaw to work.

Use OpenClaw when you want an agent you control: hosted on your server, connected to your tools, and configured with your own AI provider keys.

Personal assistant workflows

Run a private assistant for reminders, messages, research, and day-to-day automations.

Developer automation

Use OpenClaw with coding tools, repositories, scripts, and controlled server-side workflows.

Small team operations

Give a team one private OpenClaw workspace for recurring tasks, internal tools, and agent workflows.

Expandable AI stack

Add supporting services such as model runtimes, dashboards, workers, APIs, or vector storage when the plan has room.

OpenClaw hosting plans

Choose the OpenClaw plan that fits your workspace.

Start with a personal OpenClaw workspace, then move up as more automations, tools, and teammates depend on it.

Setup path

From checkout to your first OpenClaw session.

OpenClaw is installed on the server, but onboarding is completed by you because it uses your model provider, API keys, and messaging channels.

Choose

Pick the OpenClaw plan

Start with the server size that fits the number of automations, integrations, and people depending on the workspace.

Connect

Log in over SSH

Use the root password from checkout, then run the OpenClaw onboarding flow to connect your AI provider and channels.

Control

Use terminal or tunnelled UI

Run OpenClaw from the terminal, or open the Control UI securely through SSH port forwarding when you need the browser interface.

Important: OpenClaw may use third-party AI providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. Those providers can bill separately based on usage. Keep your API keys, gateway tokens, and server password safe.
Security posture

Keep the control surface private.

Contabo’s OpenClaw guidance keeps the Control UI on localhost by default. We keep that framing: access it through SSH forwarding, and only expose services intentionally.

$ ssh root@your-server-ip

$ openclaw onboard

$ openclaw tui

# For the browser Control UI, use an SSH tunnel instead of opening the port publicly.

$ ssh -N -L 18789:127.0.0.1:18789 root@your-server-ip

OpenClaw FAQ

Good things to know before ordering.

Short answers for how OpenClaw hosting works on Reonr.

Is OpenClaw fully configured when the server is delivered?
The server is prepared for OpenClaw, but onboarding must be completed after first login because it requires your AI provider choice, API key, channel setup, and security decisions.
Do I need an OpenAI or other AI provider account?
Yes, if you use a hosted model provider. OpenClaw connects to the provider you choose, and that provider may charge separately. You can also plan local-model tooling when the server resources make sense for it.
Can Reonr help with setup?
Reonr supports the hosting layer and initial server preparation. If you want guided onboarding, hardening, migration, or a larger AI stack around OpenClaw, contact us so we can scope it properly.
Which plan should I start with?
Starter is for personal testing and light daily use. Pro or Growth is a better fit for regular automations. Team, Business, and Scale are for more integrations, more users, and heavier parallel agent workflows.
Ready to start

Choose the OpenClaw server that fits your agent workload.

Start small, finish onboarding over SSH, then scale the plan as your automations, channels, and team usage grow.
